A dear friend asked me to try my hand at the infamous LAUSD Coffee Cake, which is a traditional coffee cake with nutmeg and cinnamon. It is turning out to be a big hit, so I thought I'd offer it on the blog. These are made fresh to order, so text me or Jane if you'd like to schedule a pick up at our place. Cookies: $8 per dozen

Flavors: Chocolate Chip, Peanut Butter, Oatmeal
Cookies are made per dozen of each type, sorry but I cannot accommodate mixing
If you would like another type of cookie, just ask and I may be able to make it

Coffee Cakes: $20 each

Flavors: Strawberry Lemon, Lavender, Cinnamon Apple, Blueberry Crumb
All can be made Iced or Plain

Jane always told me that I make great teriyaki sauce. So much so, it was a fall back plan in case anything happened in my career. Ironically, here we are amidst this COVID-19 outbreak.

My grandmother taught me to make Teriyaki sauce. And as some people know, I was for the most part raised by her. It's something I've made for years, tweaking the recipe here and there but I always took for granted thinking it was nothing special. Until Jane beat into my thick skull that it is, and close friends would beg me to make some for them.

I hardly make the stuff anymore, since it's quicker to buy teriyaki sauce and I never have time. But now I seem to have a lot of that... time.
